Couch to 5K is our beginner running pathway within Limitless Performance Systems’ Running Programming.

This is a self-guided, structured 10-week running program designed for people who want to run a 5K safely, without guessing, rushing, or burning out.

You don’t need to already be a runner.
You don’t need fancy equipment.
You just need a plan that respects where you’re starting.

Who This Program Is For

This program is built for:

  • First-time runners

  • Adults returning to exercise after time away

  • Individuals who are overweight or deconditioned

  • Parents training alongside their kids

  • Athletes rebuilding aerobic capacity safely

If you can walk for 20–30 minutes, you can start this program.

How the Program Is Structured

Each week follows a simple rhythm:

  • 2 structured run days

  • 1 dedicated walking day

  • Rest days built in

This structure allows your body to adapt safely while keeping workouts manageable and repeatable.

Program Phases

  • Short jogging intervals paired with walking breaks help your body adapt while building early confidence. Distance and pace are intentionally removed from the equation.

  • Jogging time increases gradually while walking breaks decrease. Fitness improves without forcing intensity.

  • Most runs become continuous. Distance awareness is optional and never required — confidence is the priority.

  • Reduced volume allows your body to recover so you feel ready, rested, and confident heading into race day.
